WAGMI Defense, the first game from the WAGMI Games franchise, is the World’s high-fidelity mobile strategy experience. Every card you collect doubles as a digital collectible, all set in a futuristic world with original characters and an engaging story

While the core game loop may feel similar to Supercell’s Clash Royale, the entire game has a futuristic sci-fi twist that will challenge players to build teams around different battle strategies. Additionally, the intricate Card System borrows elements from Marvel Snap and Genshin Impact to create an addictive loop of purchasing-collecting-upgrading and selling that could become profitable should the player decide to list the cards on the secondary market.

This redefines the RTS Tower Defense mobile game genre by prioritizing FUN while seamlessly introducing Web3 elements for a fresh gaming experience. WAGMI Defense delivers fast-paced, exciting gameplay where players can level up their cards, climb or drop in rank, and engage in intense 3-minute battles.

Game Lore

The game’s story takes place in the year 3022. Four centuries have passed since the fragile peace between humanity and the Gray Alliance was forged, united by their desperate need to mine NiFe, a rare and powerful resource located deep within the Earth’s core as well as the asteroid Kamen that now mysteriously orbits Earth.

But that peace has since crumbled and now six heroes lead the WAGMI Defense and stand as Earth’s last defense against the ruthless Emperor Temeluchus and his five Gray factions, who seek total control of the NiFe.

Gameplay and Features

With its PvP-focused gameplay, you’ll join one of two factions, humans or aliens, and dive into 3-minute strategic battles where you’ll fight to protect your towers while tearing down your opponent’s. Deckbuilding is important, as you’ll need to outthink your enemies using a variety of unit cards. To up the stakes, PvP matches will include wager options using the WAGMI token, adding an extra layer of intensity to each battle.

Each victorious battle rewards you with a WAR CHEST, packed with in-game cards to unlock new characters and evolve them to higher rarities (Common , Rare , Epic, Legendary). These chests also contain “NiFe,” a valuable resource used to level up your characters from Level 1 to Level 10, enhancing their power and abilities.

In WAGMI Defense, players can earn Experience Points (EXP) and strive to reach Player Level 10. Upgrading cards in their collection allows players to acquire EXP, with higher-level card upgrades providing exponentially more EXP.

WAGMI Defense also features unique mechanics like “scrapping” unwanted cards to gain more NiFe. Additionally, players can buy, sell, or trade their cards with others on zkEVM-compatible marketplaces such as Sphere and TokenTrove. For those looking to expand their collection, the in-game shop offers card packs and NiFe for purchase.
